About our repair services:

We use custom made test boxes to test your cluster pre and post repair on all the clusters we repair.  We use a fully licenced VCDS to computer test your cluster.  We use high end hot air rework stations, RF soldering irons (these use RF to heat the tips instead of a heating element, this means it can reach soldering temperature in 5 seconds but also maintains the TIP temperature during use unlike irons that use heating elements), this gives a much better joint.  We also use Oscilloscopes, signal generators, frequency counters etc that are all externally calibrated.

Services available:

Usual Service:

For this service, you send your cluster to me, I will repair your cluster and ship it back to you the next day. This is the cheapest method as the carrier costs are less, i.e you send it Monday, I receive it Tuesday, ship it back to you Wednesday and you receive your repaired cluster Thursday.

Same day repairs:

I must receive your cluster by 1pm at the latest, you can do this by using Royal Mail Special delivery before 1pm service or by specifying with a carrier a pre 1pm delivery. Your cluster will be repaired and shipped back to you the same day, this saves one day on the above service

Whilst you wait:

You drive to me in Cirencester in Gloucestershire, if your cluster has been removed from the car already you can drop it off and I will call you when it is repaired, this takes about 90 mins dependant on the faults. If you come in the car the cluster is in, you can remove your cluster here, you can then go for a walk, the Roman Amphitheatre is a 10 min walk, or you can shop and get a coffee in the Historic Roman town of Cirencester which is about a 15 min walk. I will work on your cluster and call you when it’s been repaired, you can then refit your cluster. Don’t worry if you do not know how to remove and refit your cluster, I can help you or for a small fee we can remove and refit your cluster for you.

Warranty:

On any component I fit is for the duration you own the vehicle, so if 5 years after I replace the LCD or gauge motor it fails you just pay return shipping.

Discounts: 

If you send more than one cluster, your trade working on a customers car, or if the cluster has had a previous repair by me (and something fails that I have not previously replaced) you get 10% discount.
