About Us

Thank you for visiting PBH Services.

I am a fully qualified electronic engineer, after College I worked for Ocean Electronics, repairing mainly BT equipment such as Exchanges, telephones and answering machines, also supporting the manufacturing lines and automated test equipment.

After this I worked for Techlogic ltd, again working with and repairing BT equipment.

I them moved to working for 3 Com, working with computer networking equipment, ISDN and modems.

My last job before being self employed was working for A.R.G ElectroDesign ltd for just under 21 years, starting in 1996 as a Calibration engineer working up to Service and Support manager in 2004, until  ARG ElectroDesign Closed its doors at the end of July 2017.In this time working again mainly on BT equipment such as 2MB testers, demultiplexers, bit error testers, pattern generators, Marine and Aviation products and networking equipment.

P.B.H Services is now the most used repair company for instrument cluster repairs on MK1 TT’s and other Audi / VW group cars and have been on all the forums on Facebook for many years with 100% feedback.  We also own a tester that tests Epirb / ELT’s (Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacon / Emergency location Transponder) used in Marine and Aviation, we, up to recently, still produced these but due to component obsolescence we now just Calibrate and repair them.

We pride ourselves on quality of work whilst maintaining an affordable price, doing our best to undercut any like for like repair service.  The parts we use I am happy to use in my own cars, and I am extremely fussy when it comes to my cars.

We are a family of petrolheads as you will see in the “Our Cars” section, I wholeheartedly blame my dad for this, as growing up he had cars such as XR4i, XR4x4, Siera Cosworth, Escort Cosworth, TVR etc… To this day he has a MK1 TT 225.  I own a MK1 TT QS240 and a modified year 2000 B5 A4, and my son owns a modified MK1 TT 225.  We are also bikers and own a few bikes.

You will often see us at car shows and car meets, bike meets, and in the summer, local steam shows where we stay in our VW T5 exhibiting stationary engines with our son and daughter-in-law, come say Hi…
